Week of Jan. 10 - 14, 2022

Good morning Students and Families,

Welcome back to school and what a GREAT week we had - many of the students got back into our routines and are trying their very best.  I greatly appreciate all the students who are continuing to work on their RAZKIDS and MATHLETICS - these greatly help support our reading and math skills.  Great work to those who are working on these and thank you to the parents who continue to monitor and support our students in their learning - EXCELLENT WORK!

Please note - we are continuing to stay safe by washing our hands and wearing our masks.  Please make sure your child has at least 2 EXTRA MASKS in their backpacks and please replace any old masks, thank you!

Also, our upcoming WILLY WONKA play will be coming up and auditions will happen this upcoming week.  Many of our Room 19 students are interested in this and I will attach the sheets/lines to this post in the event someone else is interested.  Remember to try your best to memorize these "Violet" lines for the audition and use expression (much like we do during our Literacy Centers and readings at school).  YOU WILL DO AMAZING, GRADE 2 STUDENTS.  I AM VERY PROUD OF YOUR EFFORT AND BRAVERY =;)

Please continue to STAY SAFE during these times and let me know if there is anything I can help you with - I am here to help! =;)

Thank you and enjoy your weekend,

Mr. Engel
