SPORTS DAY - MONDAY, JUNE 27, 2022 - WEAR YELLOW =;)

Good afternoon everyone,

Hope you are excited for your last week of school next week (Monday and Tuesday only) as we will be having our SPORTS DAY on Monday, June 27th (due to the rain today on Friday).  Please remember that the students in Grade 2 Room 19 will be wearing YELLOW as our colour!  

Enjoy your weekend and THANK YOU so very much for the gifts I received from students and families today - they mean a great deal and thank you for your GENEROSITY =;)

Dear students and families,

I trust you are enjoying your weekend without Homework and you were able to surprise your Dad with your very well done cards (Galaxy Cards) as well as the hard work you put into your wire sculptures.  Happy FATHER'S DAY =;)

Have a wonderful day celebrating how amazing our Dads/Parents are and I look forward to seeing you on Monday for our last full week of school!  You guys are almost done and GREAT work to all of you!

Week of June 6 - 10, 2022

Great work yet again, Grade 2 Students - (Future Grade 3 Students) =;)

Keep up the EXCELLENT work and EFFORT you are doing as you only have a two and half weeks of your Grade 2 school year left!  Also, please continue to explore and test your BOAT PROJECT at home as this is a 2 week project.  I am hoping you are enjoying the hands-on activity and are learning what has worked for your boat and what to improve on.  Science is about exploring what went wrong and trying to make it work the even better the next time (like in our Scientific Method during our Observations).  Test to see if it floats, propels, and carries a load of 150g =;)
